Hey Everyone! :-)
Agent Thoth discusses more of the trials and tribulations associated with living with hominids. Incidentally, if you've missed Agent Thoth's earlier entries, you can find them here: Thoth's Journal

Day Three-Hundred-Seventy-Six:
There is a very small, flying avian that has apparently decided to test my ingenuity. Every day, this creature comes to one of the glass portals and sits on the ledge outside it. There, it hops about and makes high-pitched squeaking noises until it attracts my attention.Once it is certain that I am observing it, the avian spreads its upper limbs and fans out the modified scales that enable its flight, and it screeches at me until I become bored and leave. I believe it is testing my problem-solving abilities by challenging me to find a way through the portal. Perhaps, this is the dominant form of life on this planet?
I must confess, I am tempted to take the creature up on its challenge. It looks rather tasty and I believe I would enjoy an experiment to determine its compatibility with the digestive system of a DPCIL agent.
Uh oh! Seems like Agent Thoth is getting some of his own back. ;-) Okay, it looks like the results are in and Agent Thoth is a gray/silver tabby Maine Coon. I'll be looking for a picture that fits and once I find one I'll change the picture at the top of these posts. So be looking for that change to happen soon! ;-) Happy reading!
