Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Don't Forget The Greens #Recipe!

Hey Everyone!! :-)

This is an easy, versatile dish that can be made in just a couple of minutes. You can use it as a side or mixed with rice or pasta and make it into a main course. Enjoy!

4 cups broccoli florets
6 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
3 tbsp olive oil

Add the oils and broccoli to a saute pan and cook until broccoli starts to wilt. Add the garlic, sesame seeds, soy sauce, pepper flakes (optional), and vinegar and cook until the seeds are toasted. Remove from heat and serve as a side or mix with cooked rice or pasta and beans and eat as a main course.
