Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

#Agent Thoth's #Personal Log: Day 1125

Hey Everyone! :-)

Agent Thoth discusses more of the trials and tribulations associated with living with hominids. Incidentally, if you've missed Agent Thoth's earlier entries, you can find them here: Thoth's Journal

Agent Thoth's Personal Log

Day Eleven-Hundred-Twenty-Five:
I have spent some time in meditation and believe I am now capable of continuing the description of events that occurred during my latest attempt at furthering the research that comprises the core aim of my mission. As I last explained, I had gone to quite a bit of trouble to create a situation of maximal chaos to distract my hominid-servant, so that I would be able to escape the confines of my domicile. Unfortunately, in one of her rare displays of shrewdness, my hominid-servant realized my plan before I was able to bypass the blockage of creatures congregated at the door to my domicile.

As I attempted to unobtrusively make my way through the open door, my hominid-servant spotted me and shut the door in my face just as I sprinted to dash through it, causing me to bump my nose. She then proceeded to yell at the canid, the juvenile felid, and me! The other two quadripedal residents of my domicile seemed subdued by her chastisement, as they then slunk off to other parts of my domicile to compose themselves. But, again, in an unusual show of sagacity, my hominid-servant correctly identified me as the instigator of the situation.

There is more to share; however, I hear my hominid-servant approaching, and I believe she is still rather piqued with me. I will act on the theory that, at least in this circumstance, discretion is the better part of valor and complete this report at a later time.

Oh, my! It seems poor Thoth may be in the dog house.. ;-) You may have noticed that Agent Thoth has a new look. I hope you like his new picture as much as I do, but I'd love to hear your thoughts, either way. Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments. ;-) Happy reading, everyone!
