Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. I've got Richard White in my APC spotlight, today! Richard is an active and supportive member of the Authors-Professional Co-op Facebook group and his mental-health themed, celebration of life and those who succeed in struggle to cope with it, book of poetry, Shattered Glass, looks great! Here's the description:

Richard White has fought his demons for a very long time. FInding the light and returning to what he feels as normal from time to time. On his journey he loses many of his friends from his high school to those same demons, depression, and drug abuse. Shattered Glass is his testament and dedication to those he has lost, and to those that are here still fighting the demons they face. in Shattered Glass, he explores themes of mental health, depression, anxiety, PTSD, drug addiction, and suicide. It is a documentation of struggle and triumph, a celebration of life and living. White’s wit, empathy, and a passion for poetry produce a work of endless wonder.
