Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Quick And Easy #Christmas #Treat That's #Sweet To #Eat! :-)



Hey Everyone!! :-)

I hope you're all having a wonderful and safe holiday season! :-) Whatever your particular holiday celebration is, most of them seem to include lots of rich and delicious special treats. So, I thought I'd share one of my favorite special treat recipes with you, today. :-)

Ingredients:
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
2 Cups Heavy Cream
2 tsp Vanilla (or your favorite liquor)
1 Container Cool Whip
1 Bag Milano Cookies
1 Egg
1 round container lined with plastic wrap

Put chocolate chips, egg, and vanilla in blender. Heat cream until bubbles start to form around edges. Pour hot cream into blender and blend until smooth. Immediately pour chocolate mixture into prepared round container. Put container in freezer over night. Remove container from freezer and use plastic wrap to lift chocolate mousse from container. Turn frozen mousse upside down on plate. Microwave milano cookies for 30 seconds to melt chocolate centers. Separate halves of milano cookies and stick the chocolate sides to the frozen mousse until mousse is completely surrounded by cookies. Fill the top of the mousse in the center of the cookies with cool whip, and garnish with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips. Cut between cookies to serve.
