Who Is Mistral Dawn?
Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Cheesy Brussel Sprouts #Recipe!
Hey Everyone!! :-)
This is a really simple recipe that's sure to be a crowd pleaser. Enjoy! :-)
Ingredients:
4 cups brussel sprouts
2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
1/2 cup pecorino romano cheese grated
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil the brussel sprouts in salted water until just slightly tender. Drain the sprouts and place them on a baking tray. Smash the sprouts into disks using a spatula or the bottom of a cup. In a bowl, mix together the cheeses, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the olive oil over the sprouts and then sprinkle the garlic on them. Toss to coat. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the top of the sprouts and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes or until cheese browns. Serve warm with a side of crusty bread.
