Jade (Three J'amigos Book 1) by Rose Montague:
Jade is a woman of many talents who has physical ties to the shifter, vampire, and fae communities that allow her to go places no one else can go and make friends with lots of interesting people. But when people are being murdered and vampires blamed, even Jade may have trouble finding out what's really going on. Will Jade and her band of magical friends get to the bottom of this mystery before it's too late? You'll have to read to find out!
This is urban fantasy at its finest. With a kick-ass heroine, non-stop action, and imaginative world-building, this story is everything I love about the urban fantasy genre. Honestly, I can't believe it has taken me so long to get around to reading it. There are a couple more books in the series that I will definitely be reading as well, once I get through some of my massive TBR, and I can't wait to find out where this story goes. Five stars.
