Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

#Happy #HumpDay! :-)

Hey Everyone!! :-)

It's Wednesday again, Happy Hump Day! ;-)  So, I thought you all might like another little peek at what Petri's up to.  The poor woman suffers from insecurities just like the rest of us, but maybe Daji can make her feel better about herself...

Excerpt from Rainbow Dreams:
When she broke the kiss, Petri closed her eyes and turned her head to the side.

Reaching up, Daji cupped her chin in his hands and smoothed his thumbs under her eyes, silently urging her to open them. When she did, he held her gaze, making sure she saw him looking at her.

Watching Daji as he looked up into her glowing eyes and didn't flinch, Petri shivered. There was nothing on his face except lust and contentment. When she tasted the emotions that she pulled into herself, she found the same, as well as a profound peace. He knew what she was, saw the evidence of it before him, and truly didn't care. It was the first time in her life that she hadn't had to hide any part of herself with a lover. The experience was both novel and freeing, and she decided then and there that it felt fucking fantastic!

Isn't it nice when the people around us make us feel good about ourselves?  I hope you're having as good a day as Petri is! :-)  Thank you all for stopping by, and don't forget to check back tomorrow for the next installment of Mistral Dawn's Musings!
