Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

#March2021 #IndieBooksBeSeen #Indie #Author #Books #Monthly #BookReview!

Hey Everyone!! 😊

It's the 18th again, so time for my #IndieBooksBeSeen monthly indie author book review!! Enjoy! 😊

Brother Mine (Brotherhood of Assassins Book 1) by Jolie Mason (Jan Benson):

Have you ever made a huge mistake that had the potential to alter the entire course of your life? How about a mistake so large it could change the fate of an entire race? That's the situation Adame Sacha finds himself in after having been manipulated by a traitor to his cause into killing the wrong person. Mal Renata, seeking to limit the damage caused by Adame's actions and save the lives of the people she has worked tirelessly to help, has to find Adame and expose his crime for all to see. But who knew that a cold-blooded assassin could spark a passion that burns so hot? Will these star-crossed lovers find a way to save everything, and everyone, they hold dear? You'll have to read to find out!

This is a fun read. There's plenty of thought-provoking situations and dialogue for those who want it, but there's also lots of action and romance to keep the story moving along. The characters are well-developed and relatable and their motivations are realistic and easy to identify with. Overall, though there is an exciting plot, I'd say this is a more character-driven than a plot-driven story, which is something I really enjoy. Five stars.
