Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

Something Worth Watching?

Hey Everyone!! :-)

I'm back today with another video I wanted to share. This one is about something I really don't think enough people are thinking about. How many of the people who lost their jobs in this depression are behind in their rent and mortgages? There are already record numbers of unemployment claims, though many more have been unable to file due to the systems being overwhelmed. By design, undoubtedly. The lines at food pantries are already blocks long. When the suspensions on evictions and foreclosures are lifted, how many people aren't going to be able to pay? Even if all those people miraculously found new jobs, would those jobs pay enough for them to be able to pay back months of rent or mortgage payments they'd missed? How many people are going to be forced from their homes? And once they're in the streets, what will they decide to do there? You think the protests are bad now...
