Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

Asked And Answered... ;-)

Hey Everyone!! :-)

Since the holiday season is upon us, I thought I'd give everyone a tiny reminder of how the Winter Fae celebrate to help get your weekend started off right! Enjoy! ;-)

Excerpt from Captivated by the Winter King:
"Are you interested?"

Barking a laugh, he rose and extended a hand towards her. When she gave him her hand, he pulled her to her feet and against his body. He used one hand to hold her hard against himself while he threaded the fingers of the other hand through her short, red hair. Capturing her head, he held it angled to the side and skimmed his lips up the milky-white column of her throat.

When he reached her lips he hovered above them with his own and looked into her eyes. She wore a soft, dazed expression, and her body was pliant in his arms. Lowering his mouth, he claimed her with a deep, passionate kiss. She opened to him, denying him nothing as he explored every inch of her mouth with his tongue and lips. Her surrender brought him to the edge of forgetting himself, and it was only with great difficulty that he broke their kiss.

Looking at her, he saw her eyes were closed and her skin was flushed. Her lips were swollen and, when she cracked her eyelids to look at him, they curved into a satisfied smile. He smiled back. "It would be my pleasure," he answered.
