Who Is Mistral Dawn?

Mistral Dawn is a thirty-something gal who has lived on both coasts of the US but somehow never in the middle. She currently resides in the Southeast US with her kitty cats (please spay or neuter! :-)) where she works as a hospital drudge and attends graduate school. Taken By The Huntsman is her first effort at writing fiction and if it is well received she has ideas for several more novels and short-stories in this series. Please feel free to visit her on FaceBook or drop her a line at mistralkdawn@gmail.com

Something Worth Watching?

Hey Everyone!! :-)

I'm back today with another video I wanted to share. This one is about a woman who I think should be an inspiration to us all. The way things are going in the US, we need people like her who find creative, but non-violent, ways to bring attention to the atrocities our government is committing. Yes, she has been arrested and charged with crimes, so was Martin Luther King Jr., but that doesn't mean what she did was wrong. A corrupt, fascist government is always going to consider protests that have a chance of being effective to be illegal. That's why we need to protest.

So, please take a few minutes to watch this video. And then think about if there's anything you can do that might make a difference or right a few wrongs. I know that's what I'll be thinking about, going forward. We can't all be as bold as Therese Patricia Okoumou, but she can be an inspiration to us all. And we can all do something, however small, which is always going to be better than doing nothing. Peace!
