That's the reality young Alexa faces, and how well she copes will determine the fate of humanity. Now, if someone would only explain what's going on! ;-)
I enjoyed this book. It moved quickly and the characters were well-developed and entertaining. My one criticism is in all the unanswered questions at the end; I like a tidy ending for my stories. Still, four stars and I think I'll be reading the rest of the series.
