#December #IndieBooksBeSeen #Indie #Author #BookReviews!

Hey Everyone!! :-)

It's the 18th again, so time for my monthly indie book review! :-)

Slither by Valarie Savage Kinney:

This was a unique view into the world of the supernatural.  Although, I think a bit more back story about the choices the family made long ago might be useful. This is not an erotic novel, so those expecting that anything supernatural must include lots of adult scenes will be surprised. Slither is well organized, the characters are well thought out, and the story is well told with a few plot twists along the way.  It is quite interesting and a good read that goes quickly but still leaves you feeling as though you've truly read a book instead of just a short story.

Song of the Vampire by K M McFarland:

This was a sweet beginning to the Vampyr trilogy. Ms. McFarland does a good job of introducing readers to her characters and setting up her world for the next story. The relationship between Giselle and Quinn was incredibly romantic, star-crossed lovers getting a second chance. Also, the way Ms. McFarland paints with words is fantastic. I've never been to New Orleans, but I felt like I could see club Vampyr. All in all, a wonderful story, and I'm looking forward to the next one!
