Excerpt From Captivated By The Winter King:
Putting aside her book, Kate rose from the couch and walked over to press her body against his.  Wrapping her arms around his neck, she reached up to kiss him.

Bending to meet her lips, Ankou enveloped his mate in his arms and felt his body harden in response to her greeting.

Pulling back to look at him, she gave him a mischievous grin. Gesturing at the table, she said, "I thought you might want dinner when you got back, but you seem to be hungry for something else."

His grip tightened and he growled low in his throat. Burying his nose in the side of her neck, he let her intoxicating scent overwhelm his senses. "Have you eaten yet?"

Moaning, she shook her head. "I was waiting for you, but I don't mind waiting some more."
