Excerpt:

Blinking, Kate shook her head, "I never expected to meet an actual goddess."

Leaning down, he whispered, "You've been having sex with a former god for a while now."

She stopped and glared up at him. "Are you trying to freak me out?"

Grinning, he shook his head. "No. Just trying to help you put it in perspective."

Laughing, she rolled her eyes. When she focused on him again, she happened to notice a mirror behind him, on the wall of the corridor. Curious, she moved closer. When she saw her reflection she gasped.
